NHK YOGA has been conducting Yoga workshops for Intelligence Yoga for Students (Buddhi Yoga) for the last 17 years, training over 27,000 employees in Corporate and Government Organisations.

Opinions differ on defining the concept of intelligence – whether it is a unique ability or a combination of varying separate abilities. Research so far has only provided partial answers.

Research on this subject gained popularity during the first half of the previous century. Among the authors of that time, Charles Spearman supported the idea of unique general intelligence, while Thurstone concluded that intelligence is constructed by combining primary factors and one general factor (g factor). On the other hand, Guilford argued that intelligence consists of a great number of factors.

Researching the structure of intelligence was carried out using factor analysis, and all results so far indicate that success in problem-solving is influenced by these different factors.
